The Eleaf iStick 50w Box Mod brings a lot of power to the table along with a massive battery. Taking just a single look at it makes it clear that the company wanted to satisfy everyone’s wishes with the numerous features. In this article, we’ll see if they managed to pull it off.
Boxing & Contents
- The Eleaf iStick 50w
- A USB cable for charging
- One user manual
- A wall adapter
- One eGo threading connector
Design & Characteristics
A side Micro USB port doesn’t get in the way of vaping even during charging. The OLED screen displays basic data, such as voltage, wattage, battery life, and tank resistance. All the information is formatted nicely and is easily understandable even by novice users. It’s incredibly lightweight that you won’t even notice the huge battery inside of it. The overall build feels sturdy and solid, giving off the feeling of a much more expensive device than it actually is.
It has numerous safety features, including short circuit and low voltage protection, combined with the automated switch off. If the device goes over 70 degrees Celsius, it’s going to turn off automatically and go into a temperature protection mode due to its integrated alarm.
One con of this battery is that it’s built-in. You can’t simply switch it out once it’s empty, which means that you’ll be stuck to the power outlet until it recharges. Also, if it goes faulty, replacing it is an extremely complicated process.
The connector is spring-loaded and leaves no free space between the tank and the mod. Of course, you’ll need to purchase or use an existing tank of your own, since it doesn’t come with one in the package.
Switching between voltage and wattage option is easy – just press the main chrome button three times in succession. The two side buttons are used to increase or decrease the selected option. If you’re a cloud chaser, it’s not going to leave you wishing for anything else.
